Nestled in the heart of Missouri’s scenic Ozarks, YMCA Trout Lodge is more than just a retreat center—it's a place where peace, purpose, and connection come to life. With lake views, cozy lodging, and endless outdoor activities, it’s the perfect setting for reflection, growth, and unforgettable moments with new friends.

Who’s it for?

Retreats are open to Singles aged 24-39 looking towards marriage and hopefully the Marriage Blessing, but you don't have to be a practicing Unificationist to attend. Participants meet in the spirit of common values and their shared faith upbringing, regardless of current spiritual worldview or relationship history. Schedule and Format

This retreat will take place September 18-21, 2025. Retreat programming is dynamic, and we like to change things up so it isn’t repetitive for people who have participated before, but the core components are

  • Couple and/or past-participant Testimonies

  • Group Discussions

  • 1-on-1 Conversations

  • On-site Group Activities as available, depending on the site or season - these typically include rope courses, climbing walls, zip lines, arts and crafts, water recreation, boating, target sports, disc golf, field sports, court sports, and more.

Everyone participates in the main parts of the program together, but we set aside plenty of time for personal time, reflection, and exploration. Activities depend on retreat site availability and cost.

Cost

We do our best to make in-person retreats as affordable and accessible as possible so that more people can attend. This often means offering flexible options such as room occupancy and the option of transportation to and from the site.

This retreat we are offering two rooming options. Remember - all rooms have 2 queen beds and a private bath.

  • 3-person room option: $360 per person

  • 2-person room option: $460 per person

Registration pricing includes meals, lodging, supplies & activities.

A nearby major airport Pickup/Dropoff is usually available as a separate charge ($50). We encourage you to network with other participants to coordinate carpooling, car rentals or other travel plans which really helps to keep costs low.

A limited number of scholarships are available. Our maximum scholarship discount is 30%. If finances are a concern, we encourage you to reach out to family, friends, your network, and the local community for additional assistance.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests 60 Days ahead of time are eligible for a full refund.  Cancellation requests up to 30 days ahead are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to are non-refundable.

Aside from the Retreat programming the park itself does offers a variety of different activities.

Paddleboarding, Archery, Fishing, Hiking, Pontoon Tours, Climbing Tower, Birdwatching, Board Games, Bocce, Disc Golf, Horseshoes, Mini-Golf, Sand Volleyball, and more.

Rooms have 2 queen beds.

Meals are buffet style in the cafeteria beginning with Dinner on Thursday evening through breakfast on Sunday before checkout.
